This is a trip that has been postponed for two years. Along the way, the duration had to be chopped down to 3 months from 9 months. My plane ticket is bought with the free miles on my frequent flyer card just before I was about to lose them. The dates on the ticket are to leave Istanbul on the 16th of December 2011 and to fly back on the 17th of March 2012. I will be travelling alone in "the hippie style", my favorite ever, going from one spot to the next, trying to cover as much as I can.

This trip is dedicated to Murat and Eda Cetinturk. I will have them on my mind and in my heart all the way. I have no other choice anyway.
